coupon for living trust!December 10, 2009 Casey M. Parnis 13 out of 16 found this review helpful
At first I, like other negative reviews on here, was upset about the lack of living trust inclusion. However, I found out that Nolo is offering a coupon (for only $1) for living trust. I would prefer to get it for free, but $1 isn't bad and this is still a great product.
Living Trust is actually 'included'May 13, 2010 Robert Moseley 10 out of 13 found this review helpful
I was very hesitant to purchase this after reading the reveiws here about Living Trusts not being included in the product anymore. But after you purchase AND REGISTER the program, you get an email with a coupon code allowing you to get Nolo's online living trust product for $1 instead of the listed $89. So at a measly extra $1 it's basically included. Perhaps all the negative reviews forced Nolo to offer this, but they certainly don't advertise it.
Aside from that, I found the program to be very easy to use, and I had a real basic will put together in less than an hour. Then I was able to copy my will's details over to create my wife an idential will (with our names reversed in all the right places). So her will took me less than 5 minutes to create.
Great time and money saver if your needs are simpleMarch 28, 2010 Big Head Kitty(Cols, OH) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
My mother is 81 and had not updated her decades-old will. She has a simple estate - one house and a few thousand in savings. I was able to create a standard will, legal power of attorney, and health care directive for her in just a couple of hours. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. All we had to do was take them to her bank to be signed and notarized and we were done! We had both been putting off this inevitable task because we thought it would be difficult and time consuming and were relieved to find it was simple and cost effective. I would recommend this to anyone who needs simple legal documents.
Perfect for a Family WillJanuary 2, 2010 Larry Mundy(Wenatchee, WA) 5 out of 12 found this review helpful
I might be the sort of buying-unit that Quicken is targeting for this product. That is, a first-time user, with relatively simple estate-needs. That said, I have only praise for the WillMaker 2010 because it accomplished everything I expected with remarkable speed and efficiency. Unlike some of the other folks rating this product, I had no prior expectations for my money's worth, except to know that I could handle building my own "Will" from Quicken's boiler-plate document without the hassle and expense of hiring an Attorney. I did not buy a Retirement Plan Maker, nor an Estate Maker or Living Trust Maker. I bought WillMaker.
exceeded my expectationsFebruary 11, 2010 Richard A. Porter 2 out of 7 found this review helpful
I wanted to write a sumple will and medical wishes document. I didn't know I needed the other three documents the program recomemded until I amswered the questions the program asked me. I have been a turbotax user for years and this program reminds me very much of turbotax.
